Did the White House know about the 911 attacks before they took place?

I am starting to belive that our government will do anything it can for cover-ups even sacrifice innocent people.
Do the research people, alot of things don't add up, go on lime wire and download twin towers not the movie but there is one that has so much media evidence that just don't make sense, like the security tapes taken from that hotel and gas station by fbi agents but only 3 frames of footage is shown of the pentagon incident and not one show anything that actually hit it.
Wherers the wreckage and what about buildings that have burned for 17 and 19 hours that were 60 some stories tall and they never fell but the twin towers fell in to short of time period for the metal to get hot enough to melt.
What about the structers in the basement that the metal was so welded together from the heat? I thought the planes crashed up high, how can the fuse together without so much heat? Explosives did it.
I dunno im just saying that for the US government it doesn't look good.

No, they had no advance warning. What if they did have advance warning? The White House says that they are going to stop all Saudi's or Muslims from riding planes? They tell people not to go to work at the WTC or Pentagon? Who would have listened? We had never experienced anything like that before, most of the American people were naive about there ever being an attack on our soil. Had we have screened Saudi's or Muslims we would have had groups screaming in outrage that we were "discriminating" against a certain group of people.

Yeah, they knew, but the jerks that were in charge thought that it was ridiculous and wouldn't happen. They thought that terrorism was isolated only to parts of Europe and Third World countries, had a supierority complex, and therefore ignored the threat. Happens all the time in the FBI, CIA, NSA, and the military. The result is death and a should've, could've, would've mentality. Oh yeah, and the Patriot Act, secret courts, and questionable surveillance.

I think the whitehouse was warned before the attacks took place. I think Bush had deals with Binladin ,As Bush really didn't think they would go thru with their threats because of the deal. It's only my opinion

according to the CNN documentary that i watched they were infromed tha something disasterous would happen. but to say that they knew that the twin toweres would be bombed on such ans such at day at what time, i don't think they were aware.

bombed and the threats being made. plus the fact that they already knew about osama's warning....duh

If they did they definitely would have stopped it. It's stupid to think that they had credible information that the attacks would happen and did nothing.

They were given notice and warnings, but, the people disregarded it and didnt give the President notice about it. Those who answer to the President didnt think it "pertinenet" enough to bring to him... Not his fault.
