So, I haven't purchased any new cologne in a while and the three that I have are about to run out, right about the same time. I would like to hear some opinions on what's hot for you? What do you like to smell on a man? Au Natural, or Au $80 an 1/8 ounce?

In case you're wondering where to start for me, this is what lies in the bottom of the bottles so far:
1.) Tiffany For Men (this one I purchased)
2.) Escape - Calvin Klein (was a gift)
3.) Claiborne Sport (was a gift)

Also, feel free to let me know what you think about those three, if you are familiar with any of them... Thanks - GT.

***I have had the most compliments when I mix Tiffany with Escape.

DANNNNNG! There are so many options now... I am going to Macy's tomorrow to try a few more. And then I'll choose. Thank you to everyone...

"Cool Water" for men turns me on!! But Escape would probably be the best of the three you have on hand.

Different colognes smell different on different people, so without knowing you it would be hard to say which best compliments your natural scent. Generally, though, earthy colognes work better with that "guy smell." Those are the ones with light citrus notes, musky-woodsy undertones. I think the best smells on a guy- that are wallet-friendly- are Hugo Boss and Curve. But that is just my opinion. If you are going to smell them all, take some coffee beans or ask if they have any at the desk. Fragrances are so strong that they will all begin to smell the same. Most perfume counters have coffee there, because it clears your nose and will help you smell each individually, not as a group...

I personally love Unforgivable, the new fragrance by Aramis.
Pacco Rabbane is an all time favorite.
Hugo Boss has some grate fragrances.
Cartier has one or two that are really nice too.
ummm.... I guess that's about it... I use the Thierry Mugler fragrances but I've never really checked out the "pour homme" ones.
Ah and by the way try Givenchy as well.

Ralph Lauren (POLO) and Burberry are OK too. I prefer the women Burberry fragrances though, the pour homme ones aren't as good.

A man smells best just out of the shower, just his soapy smell.
If you have the time and the money, look on the internet for the Creed website, they will mix your own cologne for you. The one great thing about this is ,is that no one else will have your scent.
My husband did it,and his cologne is a very studly woodsy scent,I can smell him in a room of people(not because it is overpowering),I just know it is him.

Hugo Boss is wonderful -- all women love it and you still smell like a guy. :-)

If you are going for something quick and cheap, Bath & Body Works makes a great line of "Daily Refreshers" that smell great all day and you can even use as aftershave. My husband wears Mountain Frost and it is quite nice. Masculine, too. Runs about 8 bucks a bottle!

Good for you, most women love a good smelling man! Of those 3, my fave is Escape, which smells very nice. I also really like Cool Water for men, but the one that drives me crazy is Joop!

what do you mean funky? nothing wrong with your question.....i'm not familiar with the scents you listed. the one scent that is truly an awesome cologne or after shave is,,,STETSON.nothing can compare to the fresh manly scent of clean cool musk,,,,awesome and it won't break your wallet,,save your money for the gas pump! i work in retail for about 9 years now and whenever a man would pass by me and i'd get this awesome scent that wouldn't be over bearing or too srong..i'd ask''hey, what are you wearing'? and always the answer would be stetson.......

I like Unforgivable by Sean John, but my ultimate favorite cologne for a guy is Aqua Di Gio.

Roberto Cavalli Man, Hummer, Iceberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Jazz, Escada, Bora Bora, Bvlgari, Obsession Nights. If I didn't put the name and used the designer any of them are good. Remember all body chemistries will change the odor...maybe good maybe bad. Good Luck!
