And the sad part is who do you think gave arms to our enemy's? REAGAN and BUSH in the 80's. They armed and trained Bin Laden and his boys. Reagan wussed out and gave arms to Iran. Reagan and Bush armed the Taliban. How did Saddam get chemical weapons? Ask Reagan and Bush.
And when the Bush family isn't arming our enemy's, they like to go into investments with the Bin Laden family ( Carlyle Group). The Saudi Royal family has given tons of money to terrorist groups. So who is best friends with the Saudi's? The Bush family, which is so close the Saudi family made Bush Sr an honorary family member.
ANYBODY ELSE WANT TO VOTE FOR A BUSH?

You make a valid point.
Even if the terrorists never attack us on our soil again, they have succeeded in slowly eroding our personal rights and privacy as citizens.
If you imply that the U.S. is no longer seeking to create allies, you are wrong. Western Europe has as much of a stake in the war on terror as anyone - but they also have large Muslim populations and they lack the courage to stand up to them. For example, Spain did the famous "cut and run" immediately following the train bombings.
The Islamic terrorists are the problem here - not the United States or the present administration.
When we did nothing, under both Democratic and Republican administrations - after numerous threats and attacks from radical Islamic fundalmentalists - the embassy bombings, the USS Cole bombing, the first World Trade Center bombing - the policy of apathy, indifference, diplomacy and negotiation only led to more attacks. After 9/11, we finally responded with military force. Our unwillingness to do this sooner in the face of the murder and mayhem the terrorists were inflicking on innocent people only served to embolden and encourage them.
We must end terrorism and the acts they commit in the name of their God or for any other aledged reason. They have made their objectives very clear: All infidels must die ( that's you and me and our family and friends). If you think they'll stop short of a one world government under Islamic Law, you are delusional.

the terrorists haven't won, but since the end of world war 2, america has alienated herself more and more from most of the nations on the planet. her actions in southeast asia, south america, the middle east and africa and the way so many of her citizens are prevented from joining mainstream society; all have contributed to cause most of the planet, including I hope, many americans, to shake their heads and wonder how such high ideals could have been so successfully crushed.i weep for america, and for the planet under her control. she sought to be father, forgetting her role, forgetting her own children. america was valuable to the planet as an ideal. where have all the heroes gone. where is the place for the tired and the oppressed. "o beautiful for spacious skies" can't even drink the water in the midwest. god bless america, because no-one else will anymore.

Wow your quite the fear monger .
Put down the hater-aid and take your meds
1 > The US will always be hated for one reason or another ( get over it)
2 > What personal freedoms are you talking about , you'll need to do better than just the Patriot act .

If that's the case, let the bombs of the United States of America fall where they may. Forget surgical strikes & concern for civilian lives. Money to foreign countries shall stop immediately. Take over Iraq & other enemy countries. The oil and resources shall be ours.
Aren't you glad that I'm not in charge!?!

Well the one thing good is that Allah's boys woke americans up to the greed, corruption and the fact that hey America is not always perfect and right.
Now with the Gov's spying program they forgot that as they watch us, we will be a watching them very closely too.
Prelude to civil war in my opinion, if wwIII doesnt happen soon.
There are a lot of angry pissed of children getting ready to graduate I would be more concerned about that.

It is up to "We the People" to get people in DC that will be working for US, not the spoils of office. Study the candidates for each branch of government, and their history in office. Know what they represent, us or greed.
