I want to embed an mp3 into an email. What is the code for this and how do I hide the player? Do I have to have the file uploaded on a site and link it?

yeah, rick is right. and below the body tag would be nice.

there'll be some hurdles, your mp3 is not an attachement so the embed command has to look for a file stored on the internet.

lot's of e-mail programs prevent html pages from loading and are blocked.

only try it if it's really important because the effort is high and the odds of it working is high too

EMBED SRC=your_file.mp3 AUTOSTART=true HIDDEN=true LOOP=1

@above consumer, i'm not attempting to bash yet HTML is HTML. the region will be that the e-mail service would have some HTML applications disabled. it is for virus danger-free practices from miscellaneous documents. it might probably supply her the alternative to run the report at her own danger.
