Unless your are a NON-profit organization and listed on Petfinder... It is hard for anyone to trust you or should trust you. There are MANY people that claim they do rescue, but unless you are following strict adopting guidlines and vetting the animals you take in, then you are just looking to profit from the poor orphans expense, which makes you just as bad as the puppymill or petstore that sold that animal!!
PEOPLE:
A good rescue is looking to find a forever home for an animal. They will require an application, vet references, and more importantly a home check or home evaluation.
They will also have a 301c nonprofit status...

You are doing a wonderful thing. Why don't you try calling your local newspaper? See if they will do an article on your program. Maybe they will also feature an animal each week in the paper (for free) with a picture and a short description. Good luck to you.

That is so cool i am planing on doing around the same type of thing when i get the finances i am going to set up a none kill shelter and take dogs that are on death row and find them homes for life,sorry i don't know anybody at the moment.

You need to be careful if you are going to charge a donation for the animals You need a license to do so and also find out by your state the amount of animals you can keep
