I'm sorry after a C-section because with my last child I stay a month because of blood pressure, my baby was taken to Children's hospital.

Assuming that all goes well, you should be out of there in two days. It isn't like the olden days when you are there for four of five days. They want you out as fast as possible.

Depends on hosital policy and if you have a C-Section or not. A lot of hospitals these days are like a revolving door with their maternity wards. Moms come in, give birth, and a few hours later are leaving. Both hospitals in my town let you stay up to 72 hours. If you have a C-Section, you have to stay at least 72 hours. It's like major surgery to the hospital, they want to make sure you'll recover okay before they send you on your way. Call your local hospitals and ask them. They should be able to give you that information, and if you haven't already, take a tour of the maternity ward and surrounding areas so you and your family are familiar with it come delivery time. Hope that helped!!

It depends on how you deliver and if there are complications. I had to stay for like 5 days after but I had an infection. And they wanted to see if the baby had it too. If you have a c-section you are there for sure for 3 days at least. If natural then you could leave as early as 24 hours as long as everything is normal and you feel like you can. It just depends.

My first was born in a hospital. Both baby and I were doing well and I wanted to go home and eat REAL FOOD. My doc told us early in the day we could go home whenever we wanted. We checked out when the baby was about 20 hours old.

My second was born in a free-standing birth center. You are only allowed to stay 12 hours after the birth. I had to stay at least 6 hours since I was GBS+. Since she was born just after midnight, we left about 10 hours post-partum.

My third was a planned homebirth.

It all depends on how you and the baby are doing. Talk to your doctor and find out how early he might release you if you are both healthy. Ask what situations would require you stay longer. (Some hospitals have requirements for how long you stay for the baby to be observed if you are GBS+, for example.)

In my town, the rule is that mother and baby must remain hospitalized for 24 hours following the birth. Of course, this rule would be different if you have a C-section.

So, if the baby is born at noon on Tuesday, you should be going home around noon on Wednesday provided that everything goes well and everyone is healthy! Good luck!

It depends on the hospital, the time your admitted and how the delivery went. They also have to get in tons of tests on the baby so if there's a staff shortage or a high volume of patients, it may take longer, no more than 3 day hopefully!

Depends on if you have a c-section or natural delivery. Natural delivery is 1 day(24 hours or so), and c-section last I heard was a couple of days. That is of course, given that there were no complications during either delivery.

I had a normal delivery and was out in 24 hours. My sis-in-law is having a c-section in a couple of weeks and she has to stay for 4 days.

I think it depends on both hospital and your insurances policies. Vaginally - usually 24-48 hrs after delivery. C-Section 3-4 days. Thats my past experience (provided you have no complications after you deliver)

It depends. They make you stay 24 hours after the birth of the baby. But you could stay longer if you wanted too. Or they will make you stay longer if you have a c section or some complications. Otherwise, they want you out asap.
