Red hair is very dominant. You might end up a mixture though, but I would think red. I don't even have red hair but alot of people in my family do and when my son was born it came out reddish blonde, despite the fact that his father has black hair! He also came out whiter than me with blue eyes and his father was a very dark latino who could almost be considered black. You just never know what a baby could look like. Just use your best guess.

Taken from the website link below:
For example, let’s say your family has a single copy of the mutant MC1R gene; no one has two copies of the mutant gene. If everyone then marries people with two working copies of MC1R, then any children produced will have either one or no copies of the mutant gene.
Even if they did marry someone with a single mutant copy, there is still only a 1 in 4 chance of producing a redhead. It is important to realize that if you have four kids, this doesn’t mean that one will be a redhead for sure. It doesn’t matter what came before, each child has a 25% chance of being a red head.

My friend has dark hair and her husband has bright red hair-they have two children: one of them has red hair and the other has dark hair. His brother has red hair and his wife is with dark hair-this couple has twins with bright red hair,so your chances to have a red haired baby are great .

I would say dark hair, but you never know, your husband could have a gene for red hair and pass that one along instead of the dark one. You could both have a gene for blonde hair and pass it along and end up with a blonde baby. You never know!!!!

Red is recessive, and dark dominates over almost everything.
However, despite all rational explanations, in my experience, red heads almost always have red heads. And there is nothing cuter than a red headed baby.

Red hair genes are very recessive. Even recessive to blonde. Unless your hubby has some red genes in him, I highly doubt you'll have any red heads. Just the same, I hope you have some red headed kids. Even if they're not red-heads, they'll probably have fair skin, so bulk up on the sunscreen. Good luck to you.

I know they say dark genes are supposed to dominate, but I am biracial, and I have black curly hair. My hubby is white with dirty blonde, straight hair. And wouldn't you know our baby had light blonde straight hair!! Took me by surprise, for sure!

I've always heard that brunette is dominate. HOWEVER my husband has blond and both of our sons have blond. (so does the majority of my husband's family and both his parents)
My Aunt had strawberry blond hair and married a brunette. They have two red headed sons.

red is the dominate gene...although if you both would have recessive genes in your family if ANYONE has blond hair. If both yuo and your husband give that recessive gene, you could have a blond child...it is unlikely, but possible
