I'm not researching this for my benefit. Unfortunately my little brother is hooked. He shoots up about twice a month, and I was wondering why he chooses to shoot it up as opposed to just snorting it? I mean, what benefit, if you could call it that, does he get from it?

Well, the highest high is enhaling cocaine, crack cocaine because it reaches the brain in a higher concentration and faster. When you snort it, the nasal cavities don't absorb it all, some doesn't pass the brain blood barrier and it takes longer for the high. Shooting up goes directly to the blood stream and so it reaches the brain faster and in more concentration.
Snorting cocaine last longer, followed by injecting, followed by inhaling. The more intense the high the shorter it duration and long it last.
Depending on where you live, I think cocaine is the most expensive. Cocaine, the one you snort is considered to be for the more upper class. Crack cocaine, inhaling, is the highest high and the most addictive, don't do it!
Herion is a nasty thing don't inject it because your risk for STD's are high. Don't think that you will have or only use if you have a clean needle everytime. When you want to get high, you will do anything at any cost. Selling your own body just for a hit. Stay away! If you get hooked you are screwed!

Shooting up is a more effective delivery system, right into the bloodstream, and a more concentrated dose from the same quanity.
Snorting requires the cocaine to enter the bloodstream through the blood vessels in the sinus cavity, a much less effective delivery system.

Probably the same way as meth differs. When you snort it you have to wait for a simple (not as long lasting high) and when you slam it, the high is instant and about 10 times as intense. And i would also say that heroin is more expensive just as far as the quantity you get for your money!

A guy always cums fast when its their first time. and especially if he's been waiting for a long time. shooting it is straight to the blood stream and to the brain in a more potent form than any other thats why most people that are not afraid of needles shoot it.but the high difference i dunno

i would suggest staying away from needles all together. coke is bad enough but needles will take you places you don't want to go. or maybe you do. i don't know.
