NARUTO! Omgsh I jus started watching it too its sooooo good. I love Naruto and Kakashi! Naruto has everything in it -comedy, action & adventure and drama. NAruto is the best!!!! Naruto is like my inspiration. I know that weird but I learned from the show and the character Naruto that you shouldnt give up and keep working hard even tho it kills ya. =] ahh im such a Naruto nerd lols.

There are many anime i really love. Few of my favorites are Bleach because it has cool fightings and the music are the best, Inuyasha because it has some love in it and mostly fighting, Naruto because it is the best ninja anime of all, Shakugan no Shana because it has some romance in it and fightings too. But my all time favorite is Tsubasa Chronicle! Because it has a lot of love, good action to see, exciting adventure, and the music just match up great with the series. It is also sometimes funny, so i HIGHLY recommend u to watch Tsubasa Chronicle!

Fushigi Yuugi is my favorite anime. There so many reasons: great character, an actual story line, bad guys you end up feeling sorry for eventhough you hate them, its plain goodness.
I have ALOT of favorite manga: Fruits Basket, Ayashi no Ceres, Fushigi Yuugi, Full Moon, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, Crapped Princess... I'm a Shoujo nut!

there is no way i could pick just 1. my husband and i have enough anime to overfill a tall bookcase.
some of my favorites:
full metal panic! (both of them): sagura is hysterical - a high school aged SGT who is assigned to protect a girl and has no idea how to act in normal life - brings granades and stuff to school. goes overboard on everything
hellsing: dark, love it! but i would wait until they put out the new versions b/c it's supposed to be closer to the manga.
love hina: just funny. 1 dude in an all girls dormitory.
ruroni kenshin: humor, drama, the outtakes alone make it worth it "i called it date rape, but my lawyer said i didn't have a case." "rock on!" "the force of his fart"
saiyuki: 1 monk and 3 demons go off to figure out why all the demons are going nuts. the monk beats the crap out of everyone, 1 demon is the rational person, the other 2 eat all the time (one of those 2 is a total womanizer)
bastard!: funny, kinda dark too
sorceror hunters: totally funny. the main character wants to get laid and the only offers he gets are from his 2 female partners that he wants nothing to do with
slayers: funny, lina has no self control and blows the crap out of everything!
amazing nurse nanako: bullet shaped boobs, need i say more?
tenchi muyo (all of them): funny, mindless drama... "i am the big fish!"
vampire hunter d: amazing animation
vampire princess miyu: no idea why i like this one, but i do
x: again, amazing animation, lots of drama
i'm more into the funny ones

Macross Plus is fantastic!
If you have time, watch the four-parter. If not, the single movie is just as good. Like the original Macross, it revolves around a love triangle. It fuses love, futuristic Virtual Reality music, and mech fighting into seamless poetry. A true work of art!
I've watched my share of anime and there are a bunch of bad ones. Another one to watch is Ninja Scrolls.
