in Alberta? several schools! 15 colleges have a business Administration diploma program. every uni will have one as well. the biggest business School is at SAIT polytechnic (Business and Tourism department!) they got more than 1500 students in their business diploma program and they have 4 majors (Accounting, Financial Services, Marketing and Management). I know that bus grad believe that a degree from uni is better. but a diploma in BA with SAIT is good, well recognised by employers AND you can still go into a degree (SAIT and the Business and Tourism department have agreement with various universities - one in Australia-where you can go from diploma into degree without re-taking all sorts of courses!
I study at SAIT and I had to convince my Parents that it was OK. But after they talk to some people, they are now supporting me!
good luck!

The best business school I know personally is the Wharton school of business @ the University of Pennsylvania. I recommend it because it makes you the most competitive no matter where you are and I guarantee that you will easily start a career with a degree from there. Kids all over the world go there just to be a part of that program!!! But I recommend you check out the websites below as well. They'll give you information about your major. Best Luck!

Get a BS in BA -- don't go for some sort of diploma. Most employers won't care about anything less than a bachelor's degree.

The best business school in Canada is The Ivey School at The University of Western Ontario. The University of Toronto and University of British Columbia are also very good -- and have excellent Finance departments, in particular.

If you want to visit us in the US, the best undergraduate schools are Wharton (U of PA), The Haas School at the University of California (Berkeley) The Sloan School at MIT, NYU, University of Michigan. The McInryre School at U of VA.

All of these schools are better than any B-School in Canada.

Good luck.
