In the animal kingdom memebers of a species, especially those that are heard oriented allow the slow and nonproductive to be killed off by predators. At what point should humans adopt a like policy and say you (person not group) are doing nothing to further the species and shuld therefore be thinned out? If a heard of bufalo is slowed down by a few that will not move with the pack they are killed by predators, natural or human. Even in a tribal stucture if you didn't contribute to the common good you were not allowed to eat. Why have we gotten away from these basic ideals and said the government will care for you?(from the ghetto and the trailer parks) not being exclusionary at all. I want my taxes to go to what they are supposed to not to support some ghetto/trailer park queen with 7 kids by 7 dads that cant figure out condoms are cheaper than kids.

Civilization. We as a species are becoming more civilized as history moves forward. Would you really want to go back to a more barbaric time. The present is the Growing point of life. Compassion on fellow human beings to make the world a more livable place. Any thing that an individual can do to encourage compassion in the world is a positive thing.

Well, part of the key to genetic viability of a species is the diversity of genes. Therefore, anyone who has non-inbred children is actually doing something to further the species, technically. I don't actually know much about wellfare, or taxes or whatever but I do know alittle about science.
Anyway, really the people that would be facing natural selection loss would be more like, those with bad diseases. Which I think are ok to take care of. I mean, it's compassion to care for those with debilitating illness.
Not to say the second part of your argument is not ok, I respect your opinion, it's just that the first part does not really back it up. This is one of those emotional appeals with some poorly understood psuedo science to back it up and that's really not ok with me.

there is man made determination, sexual determination, genetic drift and organic determination. man made determination is when we choose animals to reproduce to create offspring characteristics that we like. this does not usually prepare to people, even even with the undeniable fact that theoretically it can. Sexual determination are adjustments that ensue because we %. friends we desire. Peacocks have lengthy, fairly tails that dodge survival yet improve reproduction because the girls like it. In people blue eye colour would are growing extra problem-free not because it helps survival, yet because many women like it. Genetic drift are genetic mutations that neither help nor dodge survival yet would develop into uncomplicated in a inhabitants through organic danger. people will be plagued through this. organic determination could be slowed down through low mortality expenses, longer existence spans, more effective breeding populations (people holiday the international now, there are purely some remoted breeding populations any extra), and how that people adapt their environments to them really than any incorrect way round. even even with the undeniable fact that people nevertheless do adapt to their environments. All organism evolve yet some do it slowly, exceptionally in the journey that they are properly geared up to their environments. Sharks are a good get mutually. they have replaced little or no for thousands and thousands of years, yet even they're evolving. All adult mammals are lactose illiberal, except some people that come from aspects of the international which have had animal husbandry the longest. those populations have a lot decrease expenses of lactose intolerance. people from different aspects of the international have a lot more effective expenses of lactose intolerance. Sickle cellular anemia is yet another get mutually of a survival trait that developed formerly populations traveled the international as they do now. even even with the undeniable fact that evolution would have slowed down, it genuinely not stopped. It in no way stops.

Because compassion is what separates us from the animals. I don't know what "tribal" people you are talking about but most human communities care for those less fortunate. The fact that you don't want to makes you kind of barbaric and uncivilized.

It's a good thing we don't apply your "rule" to those who can't spell, punctuate and use good grammar, isn't it? Then we wouldn't see any more of these discriminatory questions - hmm, maybe this rule IS a good thing!

I think Hitler had similar theories. Good luck with that.
