You could lose your license for a period of time. The court should be able to give you a work only license. You should sign up for AA and find out why you have this drinking problem. The more you do before the court date the less the judge will do. You will have to buy insurance for high risk for your car. You could be sent to do time in the county lock up on work release. Probably need to atttend some sort of driving school to get your license back and probably a lot of peeing in cups every so oftern at randum to prove you are not drinking. They will probably give you a court officer to report to. Do not be found in or around any alcohol even if you are not driving.

What happens when you get a 3rd DUI depends on what state you live in. The punishments range from suspension of your license for up to a year, to jail time or possible having you license revoked permanently. Whatever the laws are in your state. I'm sure it is still a severe issue.

I think it's funny that you put this question under the special education category. What should happen when you get your 3rd DUI? You should be put in jail, lose your license for 10 years, and have to do community service for the rest of your life working with people in hospitals and homes that have been injured by people as STUPID as you are. Quit drinking and quit driving before you kill someone jerk!

the take your l's and you gotto jail and you pay fines restitution and got maditory aa and dui diversion class which you have to pay for to and then in however many years later you get you l's back you have to have a sr 22 for like five years, this is in sacramento california and it can be different where you are, but if you got the money, get a lawyer that specializes in duis and then when you pay him you wont have to pay all the other ways quite as much. hopefully hes good
goood luck

Depends what state you're in and how far apart the DUI's occurred. But where I live you would probably go to jail.

Laws vary from state to state, but on the third offense you should lose your license if you haven't already. Some states also have a jail sentence at that point.

You get time to reflect on your incredibly STUPID choices. And your new roommate Tyrone teaches you how to 'dance' the jitterbug- both facing the same direction.

After a few months, you will clearly see the intelligence in having a "Safe Way Home" plan before you go out drinking.

Usually loss of license-hefty fines-jail time and probation, plus you have to attend drunk driver's class to get license back. You also pay a high price for insurance as well. All the fun and no laughter.

Depends on the state, but jail is a possibility. Google --DUI + [your state]--
