I'm going to say no. Everything I've heard or read says he's just not ready, and we (and I'm presuming most of you reading this are Cubs fans like me) all need to remember the lesson we learned with Corey Patterson. If you rush a guy into the majors, subject him to the Cubs inept coaching staff and force him to abide by Dusty Baker's increasingly lazy, arcane take on baseball, you could do irreparable damage.

Best case scenario, the entire Dusty Baker regime is canned come the end of the season and the team starts fresh with a new manager and coaching staff that can nurture a guy like Pie.

Pie is a center-fielder, not a pitcher...
And they should call him up with the September call-ups so they can see his skill level, and to see if he's ready to be in the majors. However, I don't know where they'll put him in the field because I don't think Pierre will want a day off...

of course!! they should call him up and have their rotation together for next year and move wood to the closer role!! and work with prior, zambrano, hill, pie and marmol
