I love Barbra Streisand.She is so Beautiful and talented.I love to watch her act.She seems like a great and sweet person.She would have to be one of my favorite actresses of all time.

yes i agree, barbra is a very talented individual with a terrific voice,she comes across as very careing and i am sure she is as sweet as she looks.

Oh, I love Barbra Streisand. She has the most beautiful voice and such a beautiful woman. Her voice is unique in that if I hear her on the radio I instantly know it's her. Quite a few years ago she came up with her own method of singing, which of course is "The Streisand Method." Many young singers have benefited from it.
Her acting skills are excellent. I remember some of her early films in the late 60's and 70's and they were so funny. "The Way They Were" is a film that was so sad yet so excellent and Robert Redford made the duo that took the move off the chart if I remember right.

I like Barbra Streisand because I find her to be very talented. Her singing and acting have moved me for years. I also admire her political activity. I do not agree with all of her points, but I admire that she seems to try to want to do the right thing, is fearless about speaking out, and has contributed both her talents and her money to worthy causes.
As for being a liberal ... many people (perhaps not thinking for themselves and instead simply repeating what they read in right-wing articles) think "liberal" is a bad thing. They think liberals belong in France. France is actually a nice country. Ever been there? Anyway ... liberals are nice people. They balance out the right-wing people, who are not always right either. Without liberals, this country would never have had a Boston Tea Party or freed the slaves or given women equality or blacks the right to vote or interracial couples the right to be married. Liberals have every right to live and think in America --- as much a right as right-wing conservatives.
Streisand has been a proud liberal. There is nothing to be ashamed of in that. And it is possible to be a proud liberal and still live in America (not France).
By being a liberal, Streisand has sang for and donated to groups that help protect the environment, find a cure for AIDS, support women's rights, and fend for civil rights.
Liberal .... good stuff.

I adore Miss Barbra Steisand for over 35 years, i just wish i could have the beauty and talent this lady has, there is not one person whom has the right to even come close to her abilty

Yes. Awesome voice, multifaceted actress, not too shabby and directing, producing and writing.
As far as political agenda, that is a personal matter and she has the right to promote her opinion. I just separate the person from the performer.

I can't stand that woman, she is so liberal and she is not beautiful! I still think that they could have found someone else to play her roll in Meet the Parents 2. But hey this is a free country and you are allowed to like whoever you want. But she sucks, she is another liberal out there damaging our country she should move to France!

I think she is a multi talented woman who has had to fight her way up every rung of the ladder. We in England know little of her political activities so are therefore unaffected by them.
