Western woman that marry Arabs are they naive or stupid ?

When you here stories on the news regarding western woman that are married to arabs and then when the marriage breaks down the arab takes the children out of the west to the backward hell hole they come from where sanitation and running water are an anathema. Then the western woman bleats to the media regarding this. This seems like grounhog day and has been happening since year dot, and since western countries dont have extradition treaties with these countries they will never see their children again.

Love is blind ! They marry these men for love, that's it pure and simple !
When people are in love, they go with the flow, they don't sit there thinking about 5-6 years down the line.
You know, you could ask the same about all the couples that get divorced, none of them think that they will get divorced, but things do go wrong, only it's worse for women that have married Arabs, or Pakistanis, or even Turks ..as they tend to run off with the kids .
As a mother ( married to an English man however, not an Arab in case you think I'm defending them ) my heart goes out to these women. It must be as though someone cut off their oxygen supply , I know how I would feel if someone took my kids away from me .
So maybe they're not stupid or naive, just human beings in love ! They don't believe it will happen to them , just like any woman marrying any man ! Are battered wives stupid or naive? Still..they marry men who hospitilise them at the drop of a hat , or women who's husbands are unfaithful and break up the family unit ...well, I'm sure you get the gist of what I'm saying . My answer is no, they're neither of those things, just human beings that have made a mistake .

The women are often just regarded for breeding the culture is so very different from our own. When people fall in love reason goes out the window. The western women is not generally so submissive as Arab women.
On the other hand Fathers for Justice over here don't get easy access to their children

The problem is that the man they marry is not the man he becomes.

They meet him when he is young, probably well out of his culture, family ties etc.

Then the kids begin to grow and like any true blooded male he gets to thinking about all the things that he has done.

Oops! He doesn't want his kids doing that!

God and his culture suddenly loom nearer and he is no longer the open minded ( well to our way of thinking at least) western orientated man he was before.

You really cannot blame the women for not seeing it coming, any more than those who marry a man who becomes a hard drinker or a drug addict.

The signs aren't always written in large letters across his forehead and you never hear about the families who have good lives and strong marriages. But there are plenty of them out there.

There's so many things wrong with that I have no idea where to start.

Their problem is not that they married an 'Arab' it's that they married an a$$hole. Same as marrying someone who beats you or cheats on you - people do it all the time in every culture.

The fact that these particular a$$holes have legal protection in a custody battle based on their nationality is completely irrelevant. Joey Dumbass from Hicksville would make use of legal protection too if his state happened to offer it. Obviously the vast majority of marriages to men of middle-eastern descent do not end this way.

And I'm frankly shocked at the lack of outrage over this post - can you imagine the sh!tstorm this would have unleashed if you'd changed 'Arab' to 'Black'.

Good and bad people are in every country, every culture. Sometimes two good people have problems too. I have lived in Saudi Arabia and seen things with my own eyes and not through the glasses of CNN, BBC, FOX, Al-Jazeerah etc. etc. I find most of the answers extremly biased. If you mean Arab Muslim or any Muslim, I can asure you that you can not find a better husband than a true Muslim. Islam does not rquire women to remain behind veil. Although divorse in Islam is very easy and yet Muslim men toelrate a lot of their wives wrong doings and mistakes. It is the precise reason that divorse is extremly low in Muslim countries. Woman is not required to work and earn bread and butter. It is all man's headache. Saudi arabia is as modern as Kansas City and Iowa City or San Fracisco. There are many many Muslim women doctors. As a matter of fact there are more women doctors and University graduates in Pakistan than in USA and it was shocking for some people who visited Pakistan in last earthquake

Most of Western girls are looking for someone loves them and pay them well (even as wives) and ready to do anything just to marry an Arab .. Later when she have everything in life (love , care , nice children , money ) she yearns to her previous days (as every human being do sometimes) .. she finds herself with a lot of responsibilities , limitings , objections ) so can't bear any more ..
After all she wants the children tooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So they are too fool to think that they can take just the good thing and let the bad for their husbands ..

Some of that may be, or is true. Not all marriages with Arabs ends that way.

I had a wife, half Arab, and the family was every thing one could want.

I think with many newly arrived immigrants from many countries, marriage should be weighed very carefully. Many are for only acquiescence of citizenship. I've seen those too.

The problem you describe of children being taken away from a parent to another nation happens everywhere, not just in relationships with Arabic men. I have heard many case of British men/women marrying Americans and then losing the children and recieved no help from the courts!

naive, some just do it to tick of parents. Some because they are stupid.

However many couples are happy and the woman and men marry out of love. Not all mariages end up not seeing children or something, that's just media talk again.

This is non-racial comment. Not Arabs are bad. Just the woman who mary Arabs that run away with children or makes them move are naïve or just happy with it.

Well since most of the Arabs I know have so much of $$$$$$$, this may be one reason why American women are attracted to them. I remember one incident in college when this man from Saudi -Arabia bought this girl he was madly in love with a store. Stop watching " Not without my daughter," and get to know some real people. You might be surprised.
