Hospitals differ on their policy - but most will allow your birth partner in the operating theatre - all be it they'll have to get kitted out in surgical gown and hat (v attractive)

every c-section that l have seen my family members have there has been someone in there with them, (but in emergency cases where you have to get an emergency c-section they don't allow ppl back with you.) they will take you back and get you prepped as the person that will be with you is also putting on the scrubs that they have to wear. then when they are almost ready to begin, they finally allow that person into the operating room. they put up a sheet so that you cant see whats going on but the other person can look at as much or as litle as they want. they even let you video tape it! i know a lot about c-sections i am the only female in my family to give birth naturally, so yeah, i have been around many pre-and-post c-sections. if you have any other questions you can contact me by email or on my 360. i hope this helped!

Yes, you are allowed to have someone with you during a C-section. You need to ask your doctor how many people can stay with you and what happens during surgery. Your doctor can tell you what the hospital rules are.

Yes, unless they have to do an emergency c-section. My husband was in the room with me when I was getting prepped for my c-section with our son, but then my water broke and our son's heart stopped and he was escorted out while they knocked me out.

depends on the hospital policy. If it's not the extraordinary case, they usually allow somebody, you partner to the room. I believe only one person, though.

You need to see what the policy is for YOUR hospital and YOUR doctor. I think they will usually allow you to have one person with you.
