No. "Terrorists" is very subjective. People have often been called "terrorists" simply because they had views very different from that of those seeking to control them. Dictionary.com gives a very accurate definition of terrorism. To fight off and/or defend one's rights in one's homeland is not an act of terrorism. If you are speaking of Islamic terrorists, they kill because that is the only way they can enter their heaven. They must kill an Infidel. (non believer)
That is exactly what happens when there is no separation between church and state. This country is heading in that same direction. You may see the day when Heresy is punishable by death or imprisonment.
Enjoy your lives while you still can, people and take your heads out of the sand.
The basic reason for killing in mass numbers is the attainment of POWER. Have you been forced to strip and submit to a search, even though you have committed no crime and are not a suspect in any crime. Think about it.
You may not like what I say, but that is the truth and that is your problem.

I am not sure whether or not killing is morally wrong, especially concerning revenge situations. I wouldn't call them stupid. Maybe terrorists really do have a reason. Some people get highs killing others. That could be a reason, however much a disgusting one.

No terrorists are not stupid, there is a very terrifying agenda when it comes to Islamic terrorists. They want nothing less than Islamic domination of the entire world.

Terrorists are stupid -- both of them -- the Palestinians and Israelis -- they both kill for no "good" reasons -- "only" anger. The Israelis even use cluster bombs for children to 'play' with.
BTW: The term 'terror' was first applied to the french revolutionaries when they could not "stand" those who were against them -- and they 'executed' a lot of them
