I believe there is no limit to the ammount of NHL games a player with a two way contract can ro cannot play. It just allows the player to go back and forth between the two leagues without clearing waivers.

A two way contract is in the best interest of the NHL team because the player will make a lot less money if they are demoted to a minor league team. Usually, a two way contract is for inexperienced player or fringe 4th line or 7th defensman type player. Sometimes a player coming off an injury without a contract will sign a one year two way contract just to be able to show his ability again and that he has recovered from his injury.

When a player has a two contract they can be sent back and forth as long as the team wants to send them. When they do not have a two way contract they can only play so many games in the NHL then they have to pass waivers before they can go back down that's when the team has a possibilty of losing them.

i don;t hink there's any min or max games he can play. a two-way contract is just that the player is paid different amounts when he's in the minors and the nhl.

there isnt any limit to how many games you play. If you have a 2 year contract then you stay with that team for two years.
