Its amway online. If you are into the MLM way of doing things, then go for it. Ask a few questions to the person who wants to sign you up first though. How long has Quixstar been in business? (Not Amway, but Quixstar) What is the experience of their management and what background did they come from? What is the actual amount of money needed to start? Dont let them baffle you with their answer. Is there a risk free money back guarantee? And most importantly, what is the reorder rate? As in, people who sign up, how many are still there a month later, six months later, one year later. If you would like to see some information on a company that can answer these questions for you properly, please contact my wife and I's website at cyf.makemoreathome.com
Thanks, Neil M.

It's MLM, and my advice is to stay as far away as possible.

Some MLMs may be legitimate, but even if they are, only a tiny fraction of the membership actually makes any money. The vast majority lose, and the small minority of "heavy hitters" are the ones who make the big commissions.

In addition, any MLM at any time is at risk of being clobbered by government sanctions and shut down with no warning.

So the whole idea is very high risk with a likelihood of little or no reward.

It's profitable for those that work at it - just most people don't. The statistics indicate that in any given month, less than 20% of people who register do anything at all towards trying to be profitable. Given, like most things in life, it takes a deal of work over many months or years to succeed, very very few people actually do the work, ergo very few make money.

I'm yet to find anything that can give the same result for the work though. I recently set up a site at www.thetruthaboutquixtar.com to try and address many of the questions and myths about Quixtar.

It is profitable if you work at it just like they say. It is a duplicatable system, one that is laid out for you. And if you don't follow it, you risk it not working for you. The choice is all yours, but the fact is this...if you start...give it at least 6 months. If in those 6 months you do not find it to be for you and your family, you can back out risk free and get all your money back. Again, your choice. But it is an opportunity that if you choose it and run with the system, you will yeild results.

I suggest going with him to meet the people, and see for yourself. Make a decision based on what you see and feel from the team, not from us.

It is a scam as we have tried it but found this and are having fun with a real company as this is for people that are serious and who don’t want to be misled as we have tried many things and have found a company that has been around for 21 Years and pays you to advertise for them. My wife and I just started and are doing well. It is not an MLM company and no selling, no deliveries or stocking product. My wife’s aunt has been working with this Company (Melaleuca) for a little over 3 years and home schools 3 kids and makes $9,000 a month. It is a 500 Inc company and the CEO is on the U.S. Chamber of commerce board. I can arrange a web cast with my wife’s aunt for you and you can decide by yourself and WE WILL help you be successful. It is an honest Win Win.
If you want to see a web cast (presentation) from your home let me know and I will arrange it as that truly is the way to see all about Melaleuca. Have you heard of it. We have just gotten started with my wife's aunts help as it is a team effort and it is fun. Just a quick F.Y.I. 8 out of 10 people that see the web cast join the company and 95% of the people that join re-order product each and every month. Let me know when you are ready and we will set up the web cast.

It is an offshoot of Amway, I believe. Not sure whether it's a scam, but I know it takes alot of hard work and patience. I was in Amway years ago and it is not for the laid back types. You have to be a go-getter.

If you are interested, there's another one you and your husband might be interested in.

What you want to watch for is product line and compensation. If they offer no product and only look for an investment.. better think twice.
On the same note, if you are not looking to invest a dime and receive a fortune... better think twice as well.

I admire your husband for the courage to make a change in your lives. Call me for any advice.

My son has been trying it. I can say unless you can sign alot of people up to be under you and they keep selling than you won't ever make any real money. I say its a waste of time..You could better invest your time and money in a legitimate business. Good Luck
