really i think the reason usa is kind of struggling at times is because carmelo is a ball hog and he should let LeBron or the rest of them get more shots, Who agrees with me?

Uh perhaps that Carmelo has become a clutch player. Just look at the Germany game, Wade played like crap while Carmelo's game avoided the upset by the Germans. Besides Wade wanted to come off the bench.

Because he's on fire...and D-Wade isn't getting the isolation he can get in the NBA in international competition, thus he's not AS effective...Carmelo's taller and matches up better in these situations. Wait til October, then Carmelo will have his ego back and will will cry about minutes and will have to deal with George Karl...then D-Wade will be the man again.

Because they need both of them to win games Dywane Wade might have a ring but they are both still all-stars. Carmelo might be somewhat of a ball hog but they are winning games and thats all that matters.

'Melo is the teams leading scorer. He's their go-to guy. He's stepped up. Others haven't. It's not like Wade is struggling to get minutes anyway. And when the team is in trouble, him 'Melo and Lebron all run togeather. Watch the games guys. Don't just look at the box scores.

Mello was just having an off night, Wade was injured. Mello is a ball hog I did see him shoot and miss when he had a chance to pass, but he's still a great player. All ball players have off nights and these are competative shooters trying to prove themselves, their still young.

melo is averaging 19.7 points and even with an aweful 2-12 shooting 1st half against those wacky germans, you know he's gonna get his game on.
wade is awesome also, but for some reason (coach K) this offense is geared perfectly to melo's game.
he's played 2nd fiddle to lebron and has become a far to undervalued player in this league and nows a great breakout opportunity for him before the world.
