the internet goes much faster?? lol... I don't think so that is dictated by outside connection speeds and only slightly effected by the workstation. If the workstation has a major impact then the workstation will have other problems.

First, the viruses are growing for Mac as more people use them. I have a pc and have excellent anti virus and anti spyware programs by pc tools. I have no problem.
As far as speed, it depends on the pc. I have a tweeked HP with an AMD Athalon 64 bit dual core 5000. It runs fast has up to 2000 bus and the downloading speed only depends on the website and cable broadband. I have 2 nVidia gpu cards so the graphics are great. What is better about Mac? I don't get what the benifits are. I know someone with a Mac. I wasn't really impressed.
And plus when I burn a cd or a DVD I can also use the lightscribe and burn a lable instead of a sticker. The Windows Media Center works without a problem. It is actually real easy to use. And the surround sound is excellent.
As far as I can tell, Mac really doesn't have any advantages anymore. They used to, but technology has made the playing field equal I think.

MAC users LOVE MACs!!!!!! They’re generally like cult followers, they worship them and would drink a vial of arsenic before switching to a PC, that in itself does say a lot! You don’t generally see PC users feeling the same way. I admit they are really hot machines, but since I’ve worked with PC’s for over 15 years I am admittedly biased. It's really just a "comfort", "familiarity", "feels like a good ol' shoe" kind of thing, the truth is MACs are essentially better-made. Apple tends to “over-engineer” their computers, so that you can get by without an upgrade for a much longer time. It's about eight to ten years, as opposed to the PC’s three to five year span.
Look at http://www.theaones.com/answers/Computers/which-is-the-best-computer-for-your-home-business.htm for a complete explanation about the difference between MACs and PCs

I've only ever owned a PC and I like it. By the way, I've never had a virus, so I don't understand why Mac zealots insist on using that as some sort of justification.
Windows XP is fairly stable, so I don't crash either. It's a tool that I use to get the job done, and it works for me.

PC --> Office, more products work with pc's, internet depends on cable or phoneline, Vista has gadgets-->same as widgets, and much more.
I do agree that mac's look better and have better graphical software. Also the virus thing is true but we have protection (better than mac)

PCs seem to breek down all the time, get viruses all the time, run slow all the time. My mac does neither.
It is a bit more complicated to upgrade stuff. But it's ok as you don't have to handle major break-downs ever. (Well so far anyway but it's been 4 years without any trouble really)
