The scenario is... you are too thin, but want to be heavier.
You do NOT want extra fat. Extra muscle. (However, I'm not taking about bodybuilders, all muscle, no curves.) Steroids are out, naturally.
Hope this question is clear. Thanks.

eat a lot of food as long as it is healthy. also drink vitamins and exercise. i honestly have to tell you that this is the healthiest way to gaimn weights. you can lift weights but you have to know how to do them. seek help from a gym teacher or coach. you do not want to eat the wrong way b/c there are problems such as bilimia that can be developed and other poor health problems are a risk factor.

The best way is to increase your caloric intake by about 500 calories a day. You want to stay toned, so high repitions with light weight is a great idea. (start out at 5-10 lb weights, 12 repitions of 8 ) Cardio is also a great way to tone up your entire body!

Go to your local gym and weight train. You can discuss your "wants" with a trainer and he/she will help you develop a routine to build muscle effectively. You can also take in extra protein (food, protein bars, protein shakes, etc) to build this muscle faster.
