Your fears are founded, but keep in mind, YOU do not have to say one thing. SHE is the person in control of the situation and will make any comments on anything. Trust me, you will/would not be the FIRST. Erections are part of the normal functioning of a human male. Just the fact you get one, is good indication all your hormone levels are at the right point and you are healthy.
Keep this in mind too, your fear may never be realized in such a situation. You would be in a sterile looking, cold feeling, professional atmosphere, being examined by a physician with an assistant in the room, WEARING LATEX GLOVES! There are a lot of things which would affect your erection, which you are NOT experiencing in your mind.
Don't spend time worrying over it.

They are professionals,
they see the odd arousal, it's normal.
plus this way she will know if you have any erectile problems
I had a female doctor ( she was a little younger than me) for 6 months while my doctor was recovering from an injury, and had to get tested. and yes it happened.
I wasn't embarrassed, actually I was kind of proud of it.
she looked at me and said " I see you don't have any problems"
You have to realize that society has placed the idea that having an erection is bad, you have been brainwashed, especially women. They think that every time a man get aroused it means they want sex. but it's a normal response.
Don't be afraid and make sure you are OK. plus you will probably be so nervous about the exam, nothing will happen.
At nudist beaches and camps, do you think, none of the men get aroused, sorry false, they do, but no one really pays attention to it, well almost no one, the women love it.
and if they say "eeeeewwww" they are a prude or immature.

OK, it happens ALL THE TIME! You, even while thinking about puppies and baseball and your grandmother, sometimes can't help rising to the occasion. Your doctor is a professional and don't worry it has happened to her before... especially if she is attractive. I wouldn't say anything at all unless you "feel" something coming up and suggest that the two of you move on to another area of your bod... Good luck! Maybe you should ask her on a date before she has to check down there... that way when she does, it'll be all good'n'normal for her. She'll know just what to do!

Be grateful that you can get an erection. I'm sure the doctor has seen this happen, many times before. Don't apologise unless she says she's offended otherwise she may have a more tactful way of surpassing the situation. Like I said be grateful you don't need Viagra (lol)

EVERYONE knows that males can be stimulated to erection without much coaxing. your doctor will understand the raising of the flag. i don't thinking you need to apologize for a normal sexual reaction.
I'd be more worried if my doctor was male and my best buddy stood at attention during a penis and/or testicle exam.. That would be a situation needing an apology.
Don't worry about your female doctor. If it happens, it happens.
No BIG deal!

Kinda silly.
Whatever situation happens to you...rest assured that the doc has seen it dozens of times before...and probably won't even remember it 3 minutes after she moves on to the next exam room.
Applogize? Sure. What the heck. If it makes you feel any more comfortable.
I think it will be in one ear and out the other for her though.

If she's really hot, then she's probably used to such occurences. She can't possibly be offended because she's a doctor and nothing you've got hasn't been seen by her thousands of times. Don't sweat it. I'm sure the experience, if it arises, won't be as sexually stimulating as you might think. I can't think of anywhere less arousing than a doctor's office.

A female friend of mine works in the medical profession. She was supposed to put a catheter in a 16 year old guy before surgery. They had told him she was going to come in and do it. He had been thinking about the situation and when she came in to put the catheter in, he was in an embarassing state of arousal. She saw the problem and asked if he would like for her to come back in about ten minutes. He said yes. She said, I don't know just what he did, but in ten minutes the problem was solved. It may help just to "slap the snot" out of him before you even go to the doctor.

Try and remembere that you are just another slab of meat on the table for her. She is a MD she has seen it all and probably better than yours. My daughter is also an MD, she does not give things like this a second thought so don't worry about it.

Surely it's less embarrassing than if it was a man you got hard with?
She's a professional and will be used to it, if she is really good-looking.
Or you could see a different doctor if you have "guy problems". She may refer you to one anyway to keep things easy for you both.
