You can put just about any "scent" in your duct work, but, remember this, after awhile, it will be overpowering!! A scent is "pleasant" for awhile, but after too much, then it becomes a nuisance and you will want to get rid of it.

I wish you well..

Tell Ya what I tried.

I sprayed the "filter" in the air intake with air freshener. It worked but dissipated quickly. I then rigged a wire behind the filter and hung an open freshener. That worked, but again dissipated quickly.

I wrote to one of the companies and told them what I had done, and suggested a "filter" with air freshener". Never heard a thing.
Don't know if it's practical, or if they are "working on it".

My experiment just didn't last long, and could become expensive.

I would work on it, but can't do much in an apartment.

There Ya go. Find a need and fill it. The birth of invention.

There are scents you can attach to the AC filter that work pretty good. I saw them at Home Depot.
Also, you can simmer some water with orange peels or cinimmon sticks on the stove. That rocks BTW.
I used orange peels and ginger last night after I steamed some veggies in the water. MMM. Then toss it down the garbage disposial for some double duty.

Yes, I've done this before by placing small drops of a scented oil you like on the filter. Not much or else you'll clog the filter. I've also had short-term success by spraying my favorite perfume into the intake vent.

What my mom used to do is take a small ball of cotton with a few drops of scent in it and stuffed it into the vent slits.

Buy some of those ones they make that you put on an AC vent for a car. Stick about three of them on your AC grill. Presto.

I don't really reccomend that. But perhaps you can try wiping the grid on your AC with a pleasant-smelling substance.
