This question brings up an article I read in the Readers Digest. They did a survey type of thing with a female and a male and they flew them to alot of major city's in the world. I think it is quite incredible that NY city USA got an 80 and was rated the highest in the world (only US city they surveyed) compared to any other country with being polite. The 3 things they surveyed was 1. If some one holds the door for you entering a coffee shop. 2. If you dropped a bunch of papers you were caring did a stranger stop and help you pick them up. 3. If a server or cashier said Thank You when you purchased something. So everyone out there that says Americans are rude you are proven WRONG!!!!!!!
