My bangs were teased at least 3-4 inches. It was a work of art. Hairsprayed till it was hard, the rest tied back with a black lace scarf. I had a black bra underneath a black mesh shirt. I had rubber braclets, crosses on rubber, crosses on chains. Gloves with no fingers. My eyeliner was blue, not dark blue, but a sort of glittery neon blue and I used to line my upper lids then getting to the outside edge I would do a snazzy S shape then highlight that with white eyeliner. The eyeliner was my "trademark" My lipstick was that pale shiney silver light pink. It was quite a look, my daughter about pees herself when she sees pictures. I was the 80's queen.

My lipstick wasn't too bright nor the rest of my makeup too much; I don't like a lot of makeup and never have. But my hair!!! That was at least 4 inches tall on the top of my head and the length was down to my waist! Every once in a while I go to the Heavy Metal concerts at Toads Place in New Haven and I get out the extra large can of Aqua Net!

Makeup=natural, did the cake eyeliner and lots of saliva (gross, now that I think about it), so it went on as though it were watercolor. White above eyeliner and under eyebrow. Always stayed with pretty natural colors on my tiny lips.
Hair= I tried to get the Angela Davis Afro, but with my ultra straight hair was never quite able to make it. Permed it tight, but somehow, it just wasn't the same (and as it grew out was pretty funky looking). Have a few photos that are fun to look back on, though.

Yes, I melted the red Maybelline eyeliner stick and drug the black liner under my eyes. I followed up with a lovely shade of purple lipstick, an asymmetrical bob and plastic bangle bracelets. Oh, and don't forget those super tight jeans with the zippers on the side. Now, that's fashion! Why? Why? Why?
Read the previous answers. Wow, you all take me back! Were we in the same high school? Thanks, ladies!

Crimped hair, clipped on top of my head to the side. I'd also sometimes do those crazy multi-leveled big bangs. (Curl up and under layer by layer WHILE spraying heavily) I was too young for makeup, but my grandmother did give me lipstick called "pink shock" which I think is pretty self explanatory.

the 'wet hair look' teased bangs about 2-3 inches high
lots of berry pink blush, blue eyeliner on the bottom lash line (melted of course)
pink bright lipstick, electric blue eyeshadow.

LOL - Im not giving up my age but a "friend" had big permed hair that was teased up on top and her lipstick was usually a neon frosty pink. Neon was big back then or so I heard...haha.
