If you know what is sexual intercourse then that answers a lot.
Sex however is having intercourse at the right time with the right someone. This should be at a legal age and morally after you are married. You probally herd that sex is great well it is, but there are repercussions to it. There are physical and mental effects,if you are not ready.

they are uterly the same thing, but intercourse could be rape or incest and all that bad stuff, but sex usualy refers to doing it willingly with a person who wants to have it.
