I realize that there is just too much mistrust, suspicion, differences. I still love him, and spend most of my time thinking about him, but I know that I must leave. I don't even feel like looking for someone else, and I really don't feel like do anything... Is this normal? How do I go on and forget about him? We have made so many memories together, and dreary fall is approaching.

it seems like you think you want to stay with him, but you KNOW you should leave. I have been in several situations like that and i know that it is hard to let him go, but it is obviously not working out for you. while you are delaying and procrastinating about whether you should leave him or not, the one special guy that is REALLY meant for you could pass you up. you have to decide if you love your boyfriend , or if you just (forgive me if this seems a little harsh) are feeling insecure about whether or not you will be able to find sumone else to love. you said that there is too much mistrust. you should be able to trust each other with even your darkest secrets and know that they will not judge you for it. if you think he is cheating on you or something than you should confront him about it. just tell him - hey, what is going on? im not gonna be able to love you if i cant trust you.- or sumthin like that. just IM me if you want to talk more. and dont worry, it is normal for you to feel like this, just be strong and i hope everything will work out for good in the end!

It is normal how you feel. How could you shut off memories and emotions like that, when you shared so much together? What you are afraid of is losing the part of your life that has been familiar to you for a while. Nobody has a set formula on how to get over loss, it is a process. Fall to me, is a sign of change. A new season. A new chance to be with someone who isn't suspicious, mistrustful, or shares too many differences. How about spending time with yourself? Family? Go out for the holidays, you may even meet someone new who will make you forget your old bf, to the point where you forget what your ex looked like.

We fall in love with someone for numerous reasons. When the realtionship fizzles because of negative influences such as jealousy, insecurity, and differences, we can't really do anything about it. You have to accept that some relationships were not meant to thrive. It will be hard initially as you said, because of the memories, but is it worth to bear the ongoing pain for the memories that was stuck on ur head. A good relationship constantly forms good and loving memories and if , lately, all u have is painful memories...it's time to move on. I'm a firm believer of being hurt now...than being hurt continuosly in the future. There were reasons why this relationship is ending, try to think what they were, the transition will be easier. You can still love him as a person and u can still be friends but u can't be a prisoner of an unhappy relationship.

I dated a guy for 3 years and when he broke up with me I was devasted thought I would never want to date anyone again. Didn't want to do anything lost a lot of weight. All I could think about was all the memories we had together. First off don't let your friends say lets go out it will be fun, you will go when you are ready just let yourself sob and heal. Eventually you will see how happy you now that you are not together anymore. Second you want to get rid of some stuff that you both had but no everything just put it up when you are ready, this was a part of your life and you had happy times you always will want to remember. Third and the final thing is that you just need to learn to be yourself again and not you and him. Make this relationship a learning one for all the others you are going to have. Good luck and hope all comes out well.

Break ups are often just as traumatic as a death. Try and look at this as a new beginning instead of an ending. How can you LOVE someone you can't trust? Maybe you are in love with the ideaof having someone and being in love. Your love and caring is a precious gift, save it for someone who will take good care of it. Don't even try and find anyone right away. Give your heart a much needed rest from the drama. You need to remember not only the good times but the time that brought you to this point. Sometimes you need to walk away in order to save yourself. God Bless and be strong.

If you end it is going to be so much easier, end it now. If you keep going on with the relationship it is going to end up bad. Sometimes you just have to let go. When there is no trust, there is nothing left to fight for. Don't get another boyfriend the rebound thing is never good. Take time for yourself.

I think that you will feel like looking someday, but not now. Your loss is like a death, treat it like one. You will mourn and cry and day by day get better. Good Luck.

If you love him, you will let him go. Both of you need to find your own way. If it is meant to be, you will find eachother again someday!
