I would much rather be single than to be miserable w/ someone... a lot of women don't understand what a relief it is to let go of a bad relationship... It's unhealthy... Women need to get over being single, and gain confidence in themselves... I had a bf for 2 years. Very unhealthy relationship. Eventually and I let go and felt so relieved. I was able to be me, and regained confidence and boosted up my self esteem. I was single for a good year and a half cause I wanted to make sure that the next guy I was with would be a good one... and so far, he has been...

I don't believe that's exactly true. Many women know what they want and they have priorities. As for being treated badly only a person with low self esteem would allow themselves to be abused.

women think they must be with a man to be complete, some women also feel like if they don't have children, they are not complete, and are usually willing to be in an abusive relationship, usually because women in their lives have been or they have seen their mothers be like that and think its OK,some women are just very naive and fall under the control of men, then they become stupid because that's what is the mans goal,to make women think its OK to be like that, competition also plays a part,"everyone else has a man so should i"so they end up settling for whatever comes along, and that's sad

I think a lot of women equate being attached to someone or "claimed" by someone to personal worth. She doesn't know how to get a feeling of self-worth by herself, so she seeks validation from men. She figures, "if he thinks I'm OK, then I must be OK." That validation is so valuable, and so fragile that she'll rationalize away any bad behavior on his part.
I spent a lot of my college years trying to teach a lot of my girlfriends that their value wasn't based on which or how many guys wanted them, or didn't want them. Some girls never get it. But those that do are happier and healthier.

WOMEN HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED BYU THEIR PARENTS, RELIGION AND SOCIETY TO HAVE THESE "NEEDS" PARENTS ALWAYS TELL GIRLS THEY SHOULD LOOK UP FOR MARRIAGE AND TO BE IN THE KITCHEN WAITING FOR THEIR MAN, NOW THE 30'S ARE OVER WOMEN CAN DO VERY MUCH WHATEVER THE HECK THEY WANT WHEN THEY WANT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ARE BEING LIMITED BY THEIR BELIEVES WHICH IS THE WHOLE IDEA OF THE RELIGION AND SOCIETY, PARENTS UNFORTUNATELY, HELP A LOT IN THIS PROCESS. SO DE-PROGRAM YOURSELVES AND LIFE LIVE TO THE FULLEST.

That is not me. It was me a few times in the past. The more I work out my own issues, the more I am grounded. The more grounded I am, the less men can shock me. (That was a little electricity humor!) Here's my own private thought...the closer I am to God, the less room there is for nonsense.

WE are afraid of being alone, afraid of not having a companion to share special moments with, then you feel more secure to leave your current partner until you have found someone else, but until then you put up with all of their crap.
