you are right about all that good stuff, it was also a good place to for teenagers to drink, they got busted repeatedly for serving minors
the city shut them down

I like that first answer a lot but most likely because restaurants have a high cost rate and most fail within a year. If they aren't packed every night and buy the food from local retailers they will fail.
Many Peruvian places import meat from Argentina and Spain which gets expensive.

I think the Spanish conquered the restaurant, took all of the food and left after destroying the place.
