Have you just been copying region 2, or, both region1 & 2? If the latter, did you get rid of the regional codes when copying?....By now your PC player will have been set to either region 1 or region2 depending on the region it set itself to after.. I think it is 4-5 plays with different region DVDs. If your DVD player is multiregional it won't have a problem playing different regions but your PC will, if the region code hasn't been taken out, when you copied..

Try again sometimes after burning it the program specially nero has a habit of not showing what it just burnt.remove it and get out of nero and presto it works otherwise it could be a lazy laser reader on yuor DVD drive I have about 6 (5computers) now and then the same file I could read on one won't read the next day so I swap drives and all is ok.(GREMLINS I call them). It could have to do with anything comp.bus, reader, system OP system files, harddrive etc.
Take care!

You need to try different applications for playing the files. If it plays on dvd player, you need a dvd player application for your laptop. You probably already have one installed as DVD drives usually come with such an application bundled with it.
