wow you lucky bastard got to see slipknot :\ i havent gotton the chance to go to many, so mine I'd say ozz fest, this year, i dont cant remeber what band was playing but they got the WHOLE fenced in area (closer to the stage) to mosh. they told us to split up into to sides and run full speed into another, and try to get to the other side of the fence, I was in the front of my side. It was crazy and for the rest of the song everyone was moshing. I got some nice scars from that one :)

Well the only real pit I have been in was NOFX/Lawrence Arms/Loved Ones Concert but that was some insane stuff. The pits for the loved ones were ok. Then for the Lawrence Arms it got pretty violent. But when NOFX came on everyone moved to the front (and it was a very small place) and I couldn't move at all. So I kept pushing back and then some girl punched me in the eye. It was a lot of fun!

When Slipknot were not huge yet, I saw them open for Gwar at an awesome little club in Seattle called RKCNDY.
I was just getting into Slipknot, and they were awesome live. But then Gwar took the stage and the club filled up. Let me just say that for some reason, Gwar have a lot of fans in Seattle who weigh over 250 pounds. I'm a pretty small guy and I was getting thrown all over the place. Luckily some extra huge dude noticed me getting trampled and parted the sea of other huge dudes, and scooped me outta the pit. It had gone from fun to a little scary, so I was thankful.

Well I've never been in a violent or rough pit because I've never been in one! Maybe you could educate me on the joy's of getting punched in the face & trampled on!
