Personally, I don't think we do. Ford's looking a bit craggy now, and will probably look even craggier by the time they get round to making it. And why tarnish the best (don't argue!) movie trilogy ever? Still, that's just my opinion. What do others think?

We need it just like we needed Superman IV, Batman & Robin, Star Wars Episode I, Rocky V, Star Trek Nemesis, Blues Brothers 2000, and Tremors 4.

They are trying to get on track with the neverending saga crap that has gripped Hollywood.
I really wish they would stop messing with the classics. It really ruins the originality of things. How on earth can you cap off the original Indiana Jones? There was barely any special affects, it was just good showing.
Star Trek was the ONLY thing they ever got away with, and that ended when Gene Rodenberry died anyway.
Spielberg really needs to get a little more creative. And Harrison....sadly he can kiss that ere goodbye lol. He is a great actor, but move on.

I agree -- those Indy movies were great. No need for a 4th installment. Harrison would have to play Indy as a father (like Sean Connery played his father in the 3rd movie) and a new Indy would have to play "Junior."

I agree, no need for a 4th one. I know Stallone is makeing a Rocky 6 and is thinking of doing a Rambo 4. Let the 80's movie sequals stop!!!!

I just rented Firewall, and Mr. Ford handled himself most admirably.

Since he typically relies on intelligence and wit (remember the gun against the sword in Lost Ark) I think he can still pull it off.

We definitely don't need Indy IV, but personally, I'm putting on my fedora and will see it on opening night.

We probably don't NEED it...though I would go see it. I think the best one was the third, and if they can do as well (or better) I'm all for it. And from what I've heard, it's taken so long because they were waiting on a good script. And if they've found one then awesome...
