My art teacher.
She was ridiculous. For our art final, we had to write: 2 complete essay outlines, 2 complete essays, answer lots of short answer questions, tackle mulitple choice, and more short answer nonsense.
It's just ART not English or anything else of importance. She also had many mood swings. She would be all nice, then be a total b*tch the next second. She was also extremely unfair. The day I was transferred into her class, she made me take a test along with the other students. The test was about identifying artists and their work, I of course failed it but she didn't care.

I took a Creative Writing class in high school. I submitted a poem and got 7 / 10. Then, I submitted the same poem to Canadian League of Poet's annual youth poetry contest and won the national prize. My teacher didn't even congratulate me. Not a single word.
The next year (after I graduated) another girl from my school won the prize. The teacher contacted the local newspaper and had them do an article about the girl. She was then featured on the local news.
I think that is probably the worst example of a teacher playing favorites that I've ever encountered! I think she was afraid that I would reveal that she gave the #1 poem in the country a mark of 70%.

I'm 48 and still remember a second grade teacher that locked students in a closet for any reason. One time a little girl was crying because she was sick and she throwed her in the closet for 2 hours. She would hit students with a ruler if they didn't say the lord's prayer loud enough. And if you had to use the restroom ...well lets just say there was a lot of students who wet their pants. I know teacher's who had her and they say that she was the worst teacher they ever had to. She was the most hateful teacher I ever had and is problemly burning in h###.

My science teacher in 9th grade. I live in L.A., and as everyone knows, in October, we still have hot weather. Well, it was about the 2nd week into the new school year, and it was very hot. He told us we should have learned the entire periodic table by then. Anyway, only 1 person knew it, so, to punish us he closed all the windows and opened the shades to let the sun in. I swear within 10 minutes we were all sweating like pigs! He left us like that for the whole hour! I don't know why he wasn't fired, because of course we all went home and ratted on him. I must say, that I did learn a lot in his class after that! Not that I condone his one bad action.

Well, i had a few bad teachers- my form teacher in 1st-4th grade, she hated me because i was not born in this country and she saw that some other kids were bullying me and she didnt do anything to stop them. She also spanked a whole class a few times because we were playing in time period between ringing of bell and her comming into the classroom. Than i had a physics teacher in years 6-9 who was always drunk and used to shout so much that we could see his vein on the forehead, yucK! Also, there were kids that were interested in physics but he refused to explain more things to them even when he had time for that. There were also other teachers i didnt like, but its fine now and i keep good memories of my elementary school (grades 1-9)

The worst teacher I had was when I was in the 5th grade. I thought he was an ok teacher until he was arrested for molesting his students! I was not one of them, he was molesting 2 boys in my class. It was all over the news at that time, and now he is in prison!

He became fairly smug and by no ability close up approximately what proportion CDs his trumpet taking part in is on. He sent human beings to the workplace if their SOCKS are a diverse shade the two than black, even nonetheless that wasn't reported interior the gown code. He became rude, egocentric and yelled at each risk. Bloody hell that classification became.

In college, I had a class that was team taught. One teacher believed in the bell curve so much she actually scored papers according to the curve. I was the one she always picked to receive VERY LOW scores. I went to her and said that I didn't make it to be a Senior in college making 15% and 20% on all of my work. She said that she wouldn't change any grade on my work. I went to the other teacher and showed her my papers. She changed all my grades to mostly 90% and above. From then on I would take all my work to that one teacher that gave me the better grades.

My Kindergarten teacher. She slapped me for talking. I hated school pretty much from then on. I am now a teacher myself.
I have had other experiences that were horrifying at school, but that was my first worst memory.
