You may have a point there.
I think the words reflect deeply of the artists' emotional depression.
In the opening on the first verse...
..."It's been a long time since I felt I know you..." addresses his spirit/ soul that's been long absent.
In the following verse...
... "Hey you look like me but you talk like a stranger
It's all goin' deep, deeper than a razor
Closer, out of control..."
The artist feels that he/ she is ever so slowly losing a grip on his/ her life.
Overall, it's a pretty dark song with the words revealing more of a cry for help.

Those words seem to be about a person who has great inner conflict. This person is his own enemy who is trying desperately to reconnect with peace within so that the turmoil can cease. This person has lost touch with himself and feels as if his soul is dying but he is fighting the death with hopes of feeling complete again. However, this person feels that time is running out and feels a sense of urgency to get pass this depressing time because his life is out of control.

From "Hey you look like me but you talk like a stranger"...I think she´s talkin about herself, and how she feels like she´s livin a lie. And from "It's all goin' deep, deeper than a razor"...i think she means that she doesnt need a razor to kill herself, she already feels dead inside.

I think of confussion when I read those words, but not about a person impaticular........ its about ones self. It doesn't really mean much to me though, the words are more self inflicted than anything, and I don't relate at all. sorry,, blessed be.......
