depends what the leftovers are, if it is shepherds pie we heat it up the next day and have it for dinner again, the same goes for curry and anything in a sauce. Otherwise we put it in the fridge til it goes mouldy, then we fight about who is gonna throw it away. If it is left over chicken then the cats get it shredded up in their bowls (to get rid of any bones)

If I'm out at a restaurant, I have them boxed up to take home. If I'm having dinner at home, I pack them away in the fridge. Then I have them the next day for lunch. I always get 2 meals out of a restaurant meal. They give you way too much food!

I learned this from my grandmother..........I keep a big plastic container in my freezer.......any leftovers fit for soup mak'n gets tossed into it (after it cools off of course) Whenever it is full, I thaw it out and heat it up ......while it simmers I usually add some sort of pasta.........bowtie or egg noddles and check for salt and pepper........it taste different all the time but is always good.
You can also start making your own TV dinners..............just buy
lid covered plastic containers with dividers.

well there is only 2 of us, so i try not to make so much that there is left overs. Most of the time i just throw them away, but soups, chili, casseroles, i wrap em up and put them in fridge so we can eat the next day. After that...toss em.

Put 'em in the fridge. If It's something nobody likes reheated, (descretely toss it when the other members of the house aren't looking, so I don't have to smell it a week later). Waste not.

WHEN i was younger my mother always made us eat left overs, she was a left over freak!! So now that I have been scared as a child with left overs, they all go to my great dane, unless it is pork.
