Ya know, Ive been a full time housewife/mommy for 7 yrs next month, and I wouldnt trade THAT for the world. However, this was a decision that I made, and my husband supported me fully. He made the sacrifice of working all over the US and not seeing our kids and me for weeks, maybe months at a time. This gave me the chance to do some schooling as my kids got older, and now I CAN go to work since they are both in school. I dont, however, think that if I was TOLD to stay at home to take care of the house and my husband, that it would have worked this long. If you think that you cant make it one day on your own, my only question to you is..what in the $#@* did you do to survive before her?!?! Its her life, and for the man who supposedly loves her, to tell her how to live it, is the most self centered, egomaniacle, BULL that Ive ever heard. I think its time to grow up a bit!

hi.i replied to your question cos i just wanted to tell you you must be a male chauvinist pig to not allow your girlfriend to work and that she is better off looking after you....you must either be handicapped or a big baby...if you are physically handicapped, it is understood...but if you are not...please go get a brain scan done to make sure it is still alright...and why should your girlfriend wanting to work equates to her dreaming??you must really think lowly of her...then why are you even with her in the first place?it is you who should stop dreaming and get a life and take care of yourself...i have seen too many men like you that's why i am not afraid to say what i think....

I think you are a jackass who needs to et a life and realize that if a woman wants to get a job then she should...your an adult...I'm assuming...you can take care of yourself...and Heaven bless your girlfriend for putting up with you!!

I don't think it should be up to you to tell her she is dreaming! You don't have any respect for your girlfriend and she must not have any respect for herself or she would have left you already. What would this world be like without dreamers?

if thats what you want then i agree......as long as you realize you need to pay her...her time and skills are valuable and she deserves compensation........otherwise you are just another neanderthal with your head so far up your own *** you havent realized a real man takes care of himself AND his woman he dosent want his woman "looking after" him!!!!!!
