The opposite of a hurricane, which is a region of extreme low pressure, would be a region of extreme high pressure. Regions of extreme high pressure do not occur on Earth. Typical atmospheric pressure on Earth is 1013 mbar, while hurricanes can drop down lower than 900 mbar. But the highest recorded atmospheric pressure was 1086 mbar, only half the deviation of a powerful hurricane. High pressure systems just bring clear skies and slightly higher temperature variation as a consequence of that, so they don't really draw attention.

Nice weather I suppose.

A hurricane is a product of the interaction of a low-pressure system and large bodies of water. If you were to consider a high-pressure system the opposite of the low-pressure system, the opposite of a hurricane would be a clear cool day.

If you are referring to the direction of rotation of a hurricane, a hurricane rotates counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere. This is due the the Coriolis effect. It is still called a hurricane in the southern hemisphere.

For no other reason than different regional languages, a hurricane in Asian is called a typhoon. It is exactly the same weather phenomenon as a hurricane.

A hurricane, like all storm conditions over the seas and oceans, is considered a cyclone; so the opposite would be an anti-cyclone, seeing the fact that the entity of variability in opposites here is a the probability of a storm; storm or no storm!

Firstly, not everything has an exact opposite - for instance, what's the opposite of a chair?

However, the nearest thing to an opposite of a hurricane is a dead calm day with no wind whatsoever.

A Hurricane, Cyclone or Typhoon is a low pressure atmospheric mass. In the northern hemisphere they rotate counterclockwise.

A high pressure mass is called an anticyclone and rotates clockwise.
