It really depends on what types of games you are into, racers and shooters are best served by the xbox while PS2 has more family games and RPG's. Personally I had both but I really only ever played the PS2 when a new GTA game was released because they got a release on PS2 about 9 months before xbox. I would probably advise xbox as they are rediculously cheap right now and the games are being sold everywhere for next to nothing, also, remember that you also have the advantage of Xbox live and Halo is a great game.

I would say a PS2. Has many more games. Only thing is, Xbox has Halo and PS2 doesn't. Overall, I say get the PS2.
By the way, good job on beating Randy Orton at Summerslam!!

get a ps2!!! ps2's are better than the xbox
There are more games out for the ps2.
Microsoft sucks a_ss.
Graphics are more important to Microsoft than game content - compare Pongs graphics with the game content of some of them xbox games and you will probably find that Pongs graphics wins.

i have both, i would recomment ps2. better and more games. and they are still making games, xbox is not making as many games now. but ps2 is so much better and smaller too. i only bought xbox for a few games in particular like doom 3 and a few others, so it was worth it. get both if you have the money, but ps2 is worth the money.

Both are great machines ..but if you can only get 1 then it would have to be the ps2

i'd say ps2 because unlike the x box it has a built-in dvd function meaning you can instantly play your dvds on it. the xbox has this feature too but unfortunately this isn't built-in and so you would have to purchase this separately, which is not good. plus, it has a much larger range of games available.

the ps2 has really good graphics fer racing games the Xbox has good graphics fer the king kong and shootin games what do u like best racing er action thats ur chioce.

My kids have ps2, psp and x box...they play xbox more.

XBox..they have better games w. much better graphics...ps2 sucks...and they break very easily..
