My period is not due for another 2 weeks, but yesterday in the middle of the afternoon I was sitting (not in any direct sun or heat) at the lake. For about 45min I got this intense feeling that I wanted to barf!!! I seriously felt bad!! after a while it passed and I was fine!
I took a test, but I know its way too early and of course it came out negative. I have been using an ovulation scope to get pregnant. Normally it tells me about 3-4 days before I ovulate. Im supposed to ovulate on the Sep. 2 but there has beed no change in the scope yet. Other than nausea, i have no other symptoms. Could all this mean im pregnant. If I had enough pregnancy hormone in me to feel sick, wouldnt the HPT be able to read it yet??

It is possible for morning sickness to come before a positive pregnancy test. But if you were outside in the heat it is possible that you were feeling sick if your body temperature was too hot. As far as it being to early for a pregnancy test, I never waited until I missed my first period. With two of my pregnancies I found out from a home pregnancy test when I was 2 weeks pregnant. with the third pregnancy, I had 3 months of negative pregnancy tests and had to find out through blood work that I was actually 4 months pregnant. So, my advice would be to consult with your OB/GYN.

Yes, it could be morning sickness. I got sick the first morning, when I got pregnant with my second pregnancy. I know this because I was trying to get pregnant, I became sick that morning and was sick every morning after that for 3 months. My test was positive before I missed my period.
With my third pregnancy it was quite different, I missed a period and had a negative test, so I thought I had a stomach virus because I was sick on and off all day.I actually was sick for the full 9 months.
My sister-in-law only got sick in the evening, so sickness can come at any time of the day, or may not come at all.
It may not be morning sickness, just keep tract of any nausea, dizziness, or feeling of being overly tired which are all signs of pregnancy. If your next test is positive or negative, you will be able to tell the doctor how you have been feeling and if at any certain time of the day, this will help your dr. determine what is wrong if it is not pregnancy.
Good luck and Best wishes.

I dont know for sure, but I am pregnant now... It was unexpected, but not unwanted. Iam young, and was going out drinking with my friends about once or twice a week. THis was of course before I missed my period. I found out I was pregnant through a HPT because I wanted to make sure before I went out that night. I have irregular periods and If it was longer than 28 days, I would always take a test just in case. This time it was positive.. But in the few weeks preceding the test, I noticed that my tolerance had weakened drastically and whereas a minor headache was the only symptom of a hangover I had ever expreienced before and all of a sudden, I was feeling naseated the next day. I assumed it was from drinking. I also experienced a small amount of weight gain in certain areas of my body in the months preceding my pregnancy. My Dr. says that my body was preparing itself for the pregnancy and all of my inner working systems were preparing to be a host for another lifeform. I know some of you will be judgmental about my answer but I dont care.. I repeatedly asked my DRs (both my GP and OBGYN) what effects the alcohol I had consumed would have on the fetus and they both assured me that in almost all (over 99%) cases of fetal alcohol syndrome there was an abuse of alcohol well into the 12th week of conception and that I had nothing to worry about. I also read about it online and at the library... everywhere I could find info, I read and the answers were all conclusive.

I think that maybe had I not have had alcohol as an excuse for the symptoms, I would have grown suspicious sooner.

When I found out I was pregnant, I counted back on a calendar and found out that I had been having nausea/vomiting at the time (I think one day after I became pregnant) I conceived. I was not planning on getting pregnant, so I just had passed it off as being sick, it did pass after a few days. But then about a month and a half later I found out not only that I was pregnant, but that it was right when I was feeling sick.

So I think it's very possible, it happened to me. The bad news is I then threw up the entire pregnancy and only gained 9 pounds becasue I was so sick. So if that's the case for you, hang it, it'll be a long road, but worth it in the end!

Tabs.

Morning Sickness Before Missed Period

2016-10-03 09:19:26 · answer #6 · answered by vanterpool 4 · 0 0

I did get morning sickness with my second child before I missed my period. That's how I found out that the little guy was on his way. LOL I didn't have it that early.

Everyone's cycle is different. I never ovulated two weeks after my period, it was always later than that. Yours might be early. The best thing to do is take a test in about 10 days and see what it says. It really is a little early but who knows you could be. I did ovulation test with my second child. (I had fertility problems) and they never did say that I was ovulating. Obviously I was because he's here. LOL

Good LUCK!!

If your in the same boat i was probably your head playing games with you you want the pregnancy so bad you convicing your body that you are. You might be. I know when im pregnant now too. If your spose to be ovulating try right now too if your already pregnant then you cant hurt anything. And if not you will have another ovulation under your belt. It can hurt. Best of luck to you it will happen when the time is right.

get an early pregnant test. Some of the tests don't actually test correct. I have to have a blood pregnancy test, because HPT's don't work for me. I was eight months pregnant and the HPT said negative.

Yes it can! The hormone won't show up for approximately 16 days after conception. However, some women feel morning sickness as early as 3 days after conception. Others don't feel it for a month....and then there are some of those, who most women hate, that never have morning sickness.
