Mrs. Clinton would do in a pinch but we NEED a candidate who's views are in between ultraconservative and ultra-liberal. John Kennedy was the last president who filled those shoes and when we finally get someone in office who could really change things he gets senselessly blown away. It"s too bad Hillary isn't more flexible on her views because she honestly could make a great first women president.

Oh wait, you said gender was irrelevant! What difference does gender really make?
I would like to see someone that was qualified take the job, the problem is that there are so many different views in the country that no matter who the next president is, this person will be a idiot, or stupid or ......... just because someone disagrees with them.....
By the way, I would not vote for Hilliary Clinton if she was a man or a woman. I am not at all in line with her views...

silly, women do take the job,why the hell do you think Georgy porgie is so dumb and doesnt know what the hell is going on, his mistress is just much more strict than others so her pets incompetence is more apparent, the other mistresses were better at playing the pulic submissive role, not all of us can stomach that and falter like the first lady, who is much more comfortable dominating , and if someone has to be assassinated it should be the man, why the hell would any female want to give up her anonymous power only to become a public target

I think as society is concerned both on a national and international level her sex is an issue. Now you may disagree with society at home, but trying to change the mind of our enemies in the Middle East may prove a bit more difficult. Imagine Al qaeda's response when the rich Anglo Christian Americans whom they hate, becomes a nation lead by a woman; let the terrorist attacks begin.

Though I think she is capable, I don't believe that she'll receive the nomination. The Democrats need a candidate who can win the White House. I don't think that Hillary can do that. She is too polarizing. If McCain or another of the prominent Republican senators were to win that party's nomination, she would be defeated in a landslide.

Hillary is a joke. She didn't even recognise New York as her home after she was elected to represent the state. Of course she only ran for senator in New York after she purchased a home there pursuant to the mandatory residency prior to running and because New York is a democratic state. No other state, California excluded, would have elected her.
I don't care what gender becomes president as long they do their damn job.

I believe she's grossly underqualified. One term in the senate does not a president make...., virtually zero international relations experience, being the presidents wife counts for scratch. My wife is a CPA.... but that doesn't mean I'm good at math, right? Condeleeza Rice is much higher in the qualifications and experience realm... she would crush Hillary in debates... I would like to see that matchup.

No. She has no clue about economics. For an example take a look at her plan for Nationalized Healthcare back in Bill Clinton's first term. It made no sense, economically and people stopped listening to her.
Before the "no-basis for their statement" liberals chime in here, I have no prejudice here because she is female. She is just not a good person to run the country.
