When I was a kid I would catch those and blue racers and put them in shoe boxes. Then I would take them in and pretend I had something for my mom. She would open it and start screaming. I never got to keep them, she would make me turn them loose in our horse pasture. It was even funnier when my cousin brought his gf's boa over and it accidentily got loose.

Yes, twice. Once, years ago when I was at Girl Scout Camp an expert came around and he (she? can't recall) had several that we could hold if we wanted to. I held one and thought it was pretty cool.
Then years later my first husband and I found one in our garage. The other men in the neighborhood backed away and wouldn't help my husband catch it. So I did. I thought those guys were real wimps. It wasn't a poisonous snake, and was probably scared and eager to get to a safer place. So we took it and let it loose in the open area behind our house.
Snakes are interesting to me as long as I know they aren't the kind that can hurt me.

Never, but I've eaten a lot of snakes in a shabby Cambodian restaurant at a riverside. Cooked in two flavors - soup and fried with chili. Taste good but cost US$50 a piece. Locals are poor and snakes (big ones) give them a livelihood.

Yeah my brother s working in zoo so i touched the snake many circumstances i've got faith it so slippery as quickly as I touched it first i've got faith very feared for the time of first time yet after wards it fairly is rather basic to handle the snakes ya rather

I have a trouser snake. I also used to have two little garden ones. I touch the trouser snake more than the other two.

this is kinda funny. I got charged with animal abuse cuz I kicked a snake. Long story short, I was at a party and when the cops came I was wasted. My friends snake had gotten loose and was in the yard. The cops were ticketing people for public intox. and the snake came up to me. I kicked it and they gave me a ticket for public intox and animal abuse! Weird? Cost $165.00

I have touched several snakes. A friend of mine has a pet snake and, for some reason, brought to another friend's graduation party.

Yeah I have a Ball python.I hold him all the time.A few years back I had a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake.We kept him for 3 years but had to give him away when we moved.I never held or touched him but a friend of ours would hold him.His name was Striker.He was a pretty cool snake.I like my python better cause you can hold him.His name is Samson.

I have never touched nor do i want to ever touch a snake, i'm petrified of them but it's silly as i don't know where the fear comes from.x
