Coke. A take off on the coke emblem, a gentle WAVE. the phrase was "Catch THE Wave"...

Qwest Communications (back before the merger with US West) used to use "Catch THE Wave".
That might be what you are looking for.

I think Pepsi used the above as its jingle for a time because the Pepsi logo looks like a wave.

I believe it was Pepsi, vintage late '80s. I seem to remember their using Max Headroom for it also.
