Awesome.
Also note how the other student, the parent, and the school's administration are IDIOTS — they have a code that prohibits clothing that "promotes the use of drugs or alcohol" and they try to use that code for the exact opposite purpose — to censor a shirt that scorns Bush for abusing drugs and alcohol.

But I wonder if you uber-libs would have sang the same tune if it were a shirt against homosexuality, liberalism, Howard Dean, or the like?
Then you would most probably be screaming it is all about hate, or discrimination. Freedom of speech goes both ways you know. You have to remember that while you have the right to say things, other have the right to react, contradict, and whatever else comes along with it.
Personally... in public, I don't care who wears what or says what. School or work is a different case though.

I believe that he does have a right to wear the shirt but VERY poor judgement on his part for wearing it to school or his parents for allowing him to wear it. The cool thing is now we can all make shirts making fun of anybody. I wonder if the kid or his parents would like to see their faces on something like that! Bet they would sue so fast it would cause a hurricane over New Orleans! Free speech is a right and a responsiblity for all you morons. Just because you can badmouth or say outradgious things doesn't mean you should. Now for all of you that will claim "Bush does it!" Then don't be like Bush, prove him wrong with stated facts, not hair brain theories. And though you may not like his policies doesn't mean you have to undermind everything else or not show him repect. Oddly enough which you accuse him of not doing as well.

nicely genius in case you examine the merchandise, you would be responsive to that the shirt substitute into not allowed via fact it violated a very strict dress code, not via fact it conveyed a professional-Democratic political message. All shirts showing a political message are prohibited. the baby could have been kicked out if he went to college donning a T-shirt that promoted a Republican presidential nominee. -Im in simple terms chuffed Texas is finest the way, putting an end to liberalism for as quickly as and for all, fortunately.- i think of you may desire a Tic-Tac, I smell fascism on your breath.

Well I find it strange that 12 of the 19 judges were appointed by Republicans, so I guess the Republicans appoint judges that up-hold free speech even if it is spoken against them. Something tells me if the shirt had anti-Democrat statements on it and the court was made up of mostly Democrat appointees the out-come would have been different.

USA is great! In most other countries that person would be tortured and killed for doing things like that. China would make him disappear, Russia would send him to hard labor in Siberia. Iran would behead him, N. Korea would nuke him, Venezuela would drown him, The EU would censor him, the UN would make him a peacekeeper and the Democrats would blame the boy for the gas prices going up and want to tax him more. Ain't freedom of speach great! Go USA

I bet the Republo-fascists hated that one. Soon they'll try to outlaw t-shirts along with flag-burning. And unpatriotic speech will be declared 'treason' and merit an immediate death sentance. Just wait.

I think he is a tool of his parents. They use their son to voice their frustration.
He should be allowed to wear the shirt, given that it doesn't conflict with other rules.
Children don't have freedom of speech, except that given by their parents.
