if they do it by weight I am not getting in my bin anymore it'll cost me a bloody fortune.

Yes, I have checked. There was no bug. I am not surprised as this would involve forward thinking from my local council and spending money. When they are sure that they can charge people, then they might fit one!

No. they often purely chip new boxes... and thats on condition that they might arise with the money for to do it. The technologies to study the chips is expensive. Your Council might desire to tell human beings if it decides to difficulty boxes with chips.
