How about those Bratz dolls?

What do you think of Bratz and MyScene dolls? In my opinion it teaches the little girls of today to be superficial little sluts. With their big pouty lips and skimpy outfits. Whenever I have a daughter she will not be playing with these dolls, there is nothing wrong with Barbie or Polly Pocket. Can anybody add more to my opinion if you agree? or if you disagree, why?

I don't believe that a doll can teach u to be slutty. My scene is a barbie also. Some of the clothes for both barbie my scene and bratz are not bad, and vice vesa. U are right there is nothing wrong with polly pockets. At a certain aga a girl wants to comb the dolls hair, and dress her. The only thing that can be done with pp is changing the outfits.

Barbie's breasts really aren't all that big, Marvin. She's not teaching girls to get boob jobs or anything, she's maybe a B or C cup. I've seen bigger breasts at KFC. And very thin? She's not anorexic looking like Nicole Ritchie, she's about normal size, normal dimensions, nothing horrible about her, a much better role model for today's children than Bratz/WhoreScene. Sure she has lots of different outfits, but so does GI Joe, so do most dolls, it's fun for girls to dress their dolls up that's all.

If I didn't want my daughter to go to college and instead I wanted her to be a stripper or street walker, I'd let her play with Bratz dolls.

Their big heads look ridiculous on the rest of their bodies. Therefore their makeup stands out. Their clothes are much smaller and in appears seems more revealing because of the contrasting of the head with its torso. Besides the feet on Bratz come off and makes the amputation look worse than a real amputee's leg or legs. It looks ugly. I had and have Barbies but never expected living females to look like them. Toys like my die-caste models are inferior to the real ones because of the intangibles that does not come with the replicas

However, I do agree that the Bratz are not a good thing. Children need good role models.

I don't really agree with it teaching little girls to be slutty. Some kids are just going to do what the hell they want to do whether the parent wants them to or not. I think that a toy is simply a toy. It's what's in the childs mind that matters most.

my scene dolls are better, I actually like them.
Polly Pocket used to be nice when it was really small, now they look weird to me, they shouldn't have made her bigger.
and Barbie is an icon, when Barbie first appear some women thought the same, that Barbie was shallow and wasn't a good expample for girls, and just look where she is now. I think toys are evolving and we're just going to have to face it.

I WISH THAT I HAD THEM TO PLAY WITH WHEN I WAS A KID. MyScene IS from Barbie....who used to be wholesome if busty but has grown quite slutty in her old age....
