There have been quite a few rumors circulating that Luther was gay and that he actually died of complications from AIDs. Especially since all the details surrounding his death were so hush hush. Personally, I believe he was. Heck, I would have loved his music knowing he was gay if he were still alive today. I think his family has decided to keep everything hush-hush because they want the fans to remember Luther as he was.
