Alot of people are wondering why in my last question I said Mexico isn't free...well explain to me why they would rather come to America then live in thier own country...How come its unsafe to travel there if you are foreign. I mean you are constantly getting harrassed and or Robbed and all my mexican friends say the gov't is corrupt...Trust me I live in San Antonio TX..I know alot of Mexicans...Plus look at canada..they are free also..but they arent jumping the borders and I always feel safe when im there..So what up with that.

There are more than 100 million people in Mexico, and about 90% of them don't want to live in the USA, they are actually adverse to the idea of living if the US, either because they ahve no need and/or they don't want to live anywhere else but Mexico. The true Mexican, most of them, don't like to live anywhere else but Mexico. Make an experiment: Go to yahoo Mexico and ask in english, many are gonna respond to you, ask them the following:
"To Mexicans in Mexico: Would you go to the US to live if you could?
See what they answer, bye.
PS Mexico is a free country, we enjoy the same freedoms as you have here in the US, actually in some areas even more freedom that you have here, believe it? It's O.K. if you don't. i have lived in both places and believe me when i tell you this: life in the US is so complicated! It's so full of rules and regulations that you have to be watching your *** all the time not to mess up because the littlest mystake ha a big consequence. People in mexico live less preocupied and are les stresed out than in the US, unfotunatelly nothing is perfect and mexico's economic situation is challenging for many and they have to tak the desperate decision to immigrate, because over there they will have no chance: They hav no schooling, they abandon school before they even finish elementary and that's the sad reality.

Mexico's government is corrupt!! I just got my laugh for today!!
And the US!! DUH!!!!
Mexico is much poorer than Canada, and Canade has a lot of natural resources!
It's unsafe to travel in Harlem, and in many US cities!!
Get a grip!! Or is this all about racism as it sure isn't much of a question that deals with reality!

Mexico is a poor country. The peoples come here for work and send the money home to their families. Canada is not poor and there are plenty of jobs, but don't fool yourself, they are coming here too. I know several that are here illegally. Just the way it goes. People do what they need to do to survive.
