If you live somewhere where the spiders are venomous, then remove it from your house of course. Killing it is an option too if you are afraid of being bitten or children live there too. Cats are great for removing spiders and are immune to the venom anyway. If non venomous, then I would leave alone, it is most likely a male looking for some loving so won't hang around long anyway. Removing any webbing in the home will dissuade any female spiders from setting up home and encouraging males to come calling. The amount of people who are scared of spiders just kill any that are seen on sight shows just how many spiders are out there otherwise they would be extinct with all this killing lol. I own tarantulas and am phobic too... kill or cure!!!!

depends where I find it. If it's in the basement, I leave it. If it's in the kitchen, I shoo it outside. I don't kill spiders even though I don't really like them. I figure they eat other bugs so they're not so bad.

Whenever I see a spider I am always reminded of Robert Bruce and the Spider. Bruce took courage from the perseverance of the spider and fought a seventh time and won!
Try and learn something from God's beautiful creatures instead of killing them. Persist until you succeed, so try and try again and more importantly try and learn something from the spider, it too has a story to tell.

Spiders that stay on the ceiling are free to live in our house. As soon as they enter into our living area they get squished.

If I can get a fly outside I will, but mostly they get magazined.

It's bad luck to kill a spider, especially a white one. I'm terrified of them, but I try to put them outside so I don't have to kill them.

Kill it. If a bug's outside, I leave it alone - once it comes into my house, it's gotta die. Spiders bite, and the bites are painful and can become infected.

The stuborn ones that refuse to move outside are eliminated. It's sad but I always comment, "You had yer chance!" Ignorence isn't an option when the bride spies 'em.
