The facts of LIFE are that is was founded in 1936, and published until 1986. Although TIME was published during the same period, LIFE was not changed with TIME. LIFE is now published again by a subsidiary of TIME-Warner. ;-)
OOPS! This is Biology! Er, ah, OK, the facts of life are that ALL LIFE (of any sort, plant or animal) is a carrier for DNA. Genetic changes which allow DNA to continue are supported. Those which are less effective die out.
Obviously, there are non-genetic factors which wipe out species, no matter how well adapted. A giant asteroid hitting earth, for example. But for the last 65 million years, (give or take a week or so) every form of life on the planet has gradually changed and adapted to the current situation. Hope this helps.

At its basis, life continues to be about the survival and prosperity of our family units. With advantages and conveniences unimagined to our ancestors, in modernity we can move beyond the struggle of simple existence, and are able to at least attempt the pursuit of happiness.

I loved that show. Nell was my favorite. She was so funny.
It had a really good theme song, too.

I'll go you one better - I'll give you the actual meaning of life:
It is time between when you were born and when you die.
I, obviously, don't quite get the drift of your question.

The basic facts of life are that the man puts his *** in the woman's ********** and this is how babies are made. But until the early 1800's it was actually the woman's armpit.
